I'm a little bummed that I'm going to be missing the upcoming Digital Day conference in Toronto (November 2, 2010 - put on by the Canadian Marketing Association and Marketing Magazine). I'm on the planning committee so I've been privy to all the great speakers and other things planned.
The keynotes are amazing: Jimmy Wales from Wikipedia, Joseph Jaffe (who once gave me a shout-out in a presentation he did at another CMA conference several years ago - yay, me!), Jen Evans from Sequentia Environics with her client Michael Procopio, and Angus Frame from the Globe and Mail.
I am also quite partial to the panel on social media: Brands to Hang Out With - How to be an Interesting, Engaged Brand in Social Media. I worked with Sean Moffitt (moderator) to line up Ferg Devins from Molson and Heather Travis from the Beef Information Centre to share their great stories. As Moffitf puts it - you can't beat a session about beer & beef!
So, look, if you're in Toronto on November 2 - definitely check out Digital Day. Great lineup. Reasonable price.
If you're NOT going to be in Toronto (like me), you can follow the goings-on using the hashtag #digiday10. And I've compiled a handy Twitter list of the speakers.
