Wow .. didn't know about the restrictions on gov't scientists. Glad to see this site was started! From the Globe & Mail ... "The union that represents federal government scientists has created a website – PublicScience.ca – to give a voice to the work of its members. The move comes weeks after it was revealed that new restrictive rules have been placed on scientists at the Natural Resources department requiring them to clear a number of hoops, including approval from the minister’s director of communications, before they may speak with the press about their work."

Some very important observations about customizing FB pages and how useful/important it really is. A good read for a lot of businesses who OBSESS about how their pages look. That's not the point on FB. FB != your website.

I first read about Kobo's new service via Mashable (the article linked to here). Why didn't Kobo tell me? I own a Kobo. They send me emails all the time. I follow them on FB and Twitter. WTF? In an case - nice new service :)
