Really amazing article describing David Armano's recent outreach on Twitter as well as some of the larger issues of social capital and the network effect. Excellent, worthwhile reading - both for the case study but also for the wealth of links and the great writing. Thanks to Sean Howard for passing it along.

Because tilt-shift photos are cool. If you don't know how to do these in Photoshop (and I certainly don't), this site makes it easy!!

Threaded conversations, embedded links, embedded videos and pics. All in your Twitter interface via Tweetree. Pretty serious. And pretty cool. Makes conversations a little easier to follow, plus having all the extra media there - pretty cool. Wonder if we could get this functionality in Tweetdeck :)

Really solid summary of reputation tracking tools by Dan Schawbel. If you want to take your social media tracking to the next level, this piece on Mashable is definitely worth a read.

Cool and complex tool that gives you a bunch of stats about your Twitter activity. Or ANYONE's Twitter activity really. This is a pretty serious research tool to investigate different Twitterers. Kind of a marketer's dream really - to find hidden, rich networks of folks on Twitter. Some really interesting stats: loyalty, conversation quotient, retweet quotient - yours against the norm. Really great stuff.
