Reinvent! is still a fledgling boutique agency, but I firmly believe that we are bringing on board, both full-time and freelance, some of the best talent in this space. And while I don't put winning awards as a primary criteria for hire, I do think it is important to acknowledge when they happen.
Rosemary Rowe, Reinvent!'s head copywriter (or Chief Lintbucket Engineer as she prefers to be titled), has recently been named one of five national finalists in Canada Writes, CBC's competition (and radio game-show) for writers. One of the categories that writers will be tested in is "ad copy", so we'll see how she fares. Canada Writes airs starting Nov 20th.
And if that isn't enough, she has also been named as a finalist in the 2007 Weblog Awards as "Best Individual Blogger" for her writing on her personal blog, Creampuff Revolution. The Weblog Award winner is chosen by popular vote - you can vote for her blog if you're so inclined over at the Weblog Awards site.
