For all you Toronto Marketing and PR types who have been envying the sharing, collaboration, and general
beer-consumption joie de vivre of geeky BarCampers, you're in luck! Eli Singer has launched CaseCamp! From the wiki:
What is CaseCamp?
CaseCamp is a marketing oriented unconference inspired by David Crow and BarCamp. It's open to anyone and completely free.
CaseCamp is about telling stories. Presenters, following The Rules of CaseCamp, share case studies of their work. The goal is to create a commons for discussion, learning and networking.
The first one is coming up fast, Tuesday, June 13 at 6PM . It's being held at The Brasserie on John Street [google map]. The presentation line-up looks pretty interesting (and I'm not just saying that because I'm on it). There's still one spot left; if you have a case, sign up. And even if you don't, come on out! Add your name to the wiki so we know how many to expect. Oh, if you don't know what a wiki is, don't worry, we'll still let you in.
Oh, and for you Montrealers, don't worry. Mitch Joel is on the case (pun intended) and is pulling one together for la belle province. Get in touch with him to sign up and/or help out.
